All the Latest Events of NanoQI

Our colleagues from TNO and Solliance Solar Research had a very active end of 2022, presenting their research and innovations in the emerging field of perovskite solar cells. To start 2023 on a bright note, we will present the highlights of the events where they participated and how it relates to their key role in the Nano QI project.

Between 26th and 30th September 2022, Giulia Lucarelli (TNO) participated at the prestigious 8th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion, the world’s biggest platform for photovoltaic research and development. She presented the tandem architecture of their perovskite/silicon solar cells, that have reached a 30.1% efficiency. As one of the demo sites of NanoQI, the multimodal characterization techniques can help them to improve the process even further.

In October, the High Tech Campus Eindhoven hosted the TechBlick premier conference and exhibition on re-shaping the future of electronics .

As one of the key topics of the conference was also Printed & R2R Photovoltaics, so TNO had the chance to opened their labs to the participants during one of the guided tours and o introduce their thin film solar research.

And lastly, on December 8th 2022, Giulia Lucarelli and Valerio Zardetto displayed their work at High Tech Campus Eindhoven’s yearly conference Hight Tech Next among other top innovators in sustainability.
